John Pritchard’s Retirement Party

Pritchard_Photo1Residents, board members, staff, community partners, LeadingAge California members, friends and family came to wish and congratulate John on his retirement at St. John’s Retirement Village on February 6.

John Pritchard worked in the healthcare industry for 20 years as an administrator and president/operations manager for nursing homes. Before coming to St. John’s in 2004 he administered a 120-bed skilled nursing facility, Vacaville Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center.

Former board president Bob Nakken emotionally honored and thanked John for his leadership on reviving the financial status of the community. Board President Marilyn Mitchell acknowledged John’s incomparable performance during his years of service and thanked him for strengthening the board leadership during his tenure.

Tadao Koyama, on behalf of Assemblymember Mariko Yamada presented an Assembly resolution honoring John for his years of service in the community.

Joanne Handy, president & CEO of LeadingAge California, presented a certificate of recognition to John and highlighted the accomplishments and John’s contributions to the lives of the many residents he served, not hundreds, but thousands. photo 5

Staff presented John a special gift with their outpouring love and good wishes.
